Did I ever say that we love pizza? Because we do. Here's our latest creation just before it went into the oven. It featured three colors of peppers, onions,mushrooms, cheese, sauce, and a rare treat for us- peperoni.
Cost Breakdown:
Peppers and onions: .25 cents (1/4 of a $1 bag of frozen "recipe starter" frozen veggies.)
Mushrooms: .40 cents worth of a manager markdown
Peperoni: .45 cents worth
Sauce: .80 cents (1/2 of a 1.60 jar of Classico scored at Big Lots. I like Classico because it is relatively low in sodium compared to other sauces.)
Crust: .45 cents
Cheese: .94 cents
Total: $3.29, or $1.09 each, no leftovers.
