We made it through another crazy week. We had all lingering sickness, one of us had a case of stomach flu, and my house looks like a tornado went through it. How was your week? :)

I really like the simple mom's story telling tactics. It's so true that kids like to know "why", and simple story metaphors get them thinking.
I tell my kids a story about an evil place where kids run crazy throwing money into machines so they can get tickets that they can buy trash with. If that doesn't make sense, then why the heck should we EVER go to Chucke E. Cheezes?
