Are you too busy for date night?
Date nights don't have to be complicated. You don't even have to leave home if you don't want to or can't.
That's where we are this month. It has been insane. It's a busy time for me at my job, my husband's job has been nuts, our roommate is moving out and we're helping him paint and get his house ready, and we are both taking classes. Whew. Too much going on, and not enough time for each other.
Or is there? I love date night, and we recently had a lovely one with the following three things:
- Have a slightly fancier dinner than usual. (with baked sweet potatoes and brown rice!)
- Take in a movie from the library. (Or if you're too busy to get out, take in a movie from amazon
. Did you know that you could rent movies that can be watched on your computer or Tivo instantly? Thank you Amazon and Swagbucks gift cards for our movie night!)
- Talk and laugh, or play a random game from Goodwill, purchased solely because it its name!

You forgot to remind Dear Hubby that you are planning a mini date night! He might just surprise you with a few blooms and a great Hershey bar from the 7/11,lol.
