I've always heard of 'free days' at museums and the like, but had rarely come across them.
In our new town, the Art museum is free on Saturdays! Score! And our friend had been wanting to go, so double score! We enjoyed the art free of charge, including a very interesting exhibit on Tiffany Lamps. We saved five dollars each, so 10 dollars to the how much we have saved tab! Woo!
After we spend several hours there, we came back to our house to watch the DVD of Chicago that I got for Christmas. We almost never buy DVD's. We have to really, really like a move to buy it. As such, we have only bought two in our entire three year marriage. The others we get at the library. You can't beat the free entertainment you can get at the library.
