Eating Like Kings Day 18: Burritos

We feel much better, but we're all still tired, so I needed a no-brainier meal. Enter the easiest crockpot recipe ever- take a cut of roast beef, put it in the crockpot. Dump one jar of salsa over it. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Pull apart with a fork. Yummy!

We ate the beef on corn tortillas, warm from the microwave. Add some cheese and markdown wholly guacamole and we had a meal. We also had a ton of beef left, which we'll use this week in other dishes.

Cost Breakdown:

Roast: $6.15 (on markdown, and with a lot of leftovers!)
Salsa: $1 (from a 10 for 10 sale)
Cheese: about 1 cup between 3 of us- .94
Guacamole: .33 cents
6 corn tortillas: .75 cents

Total: $9.17, or $3.05 each, with a lot of leftovers.
