Eating Like Kings Day 22: Crockpot Philly Cheesesteak Soup

I neglected to get a picture, but it looked pretty much like the picture on Crockpot 365.

We're still using that roast, so I decided to throw some in this delicious and simple soup! I did not follow her recipe exactly, but then, I almost never do. It was wonderful and warmed us up on a really cold night. We had enough leftovers for everyone to have a good sized bowl at lunch the next day.

Cost Breakdown:

Beef: already calculated, we're still using these leftovers
Onions and Peppers: .50 cents (1/2 a $1 bag of "recipe starters" frozen veggies.)
Worcestershire sauce: .12 cents
Organic Beef Broth: $1.60 markdown special
Milk: .20 cents
Spices: .10 cents
Mozerella cheese- .94 cents

Total: $3.46, or $1.15 cents each, with leftovers
